MIND MAP
Mind maps were kind of our "tests" to show the knowledge we know about what we studied and were graded on what we learned not what we don't know like on a test. This is my final mind map that I drew about the Immune system connecting to different things that makes up it and making connections with my story and my power.
How will you take care of yourself to keep your power?
Immunodeficiency. It’s when your body is not able to protect itself from any disease or viruses. I choose this because in my story I really think this is how I felt.
I couldn’t control the actions my sister was doing, telling on her didn’t make a difference, trying to lecture her was just the silliest option because she would obviously not listen. I just felt powerless and felt like all that was happening was my draining away.
I just had to learn to cope with it.
Having this disorder is a can very negatively impact an individual because the daily bacteria can’t even be really protected. Once one system stops working all systems don’t work. Everything in your body works together so everything will fail to work slowly.
Keeping the immune system healthy is just the basics, not purposely putting toxins in your body (smoke). Exercising regularly to reduce stress hormone cortisol. Maintaining a healthy diet for your stomach and it’s overall circulatory nutrients.
