One of my ideal internships are with Ninety/Ten Brand. I chose this internship site because I have always been interested in creating logos in school projects or layouts. I noticed graphic design is something perfect for me because it’s something I personally love doing outside of school and for my hobbies, drawing. Some skills I can offer is my creativity, patience, and artistic abilities. I also have good communication skills. Some things I hope to get out of this is learn more about editing softwares and just experience the working environment with people interested in similar things as me.
Another one of my ideal internships are with Maxim Athletic Training. I have been going to this gym for about 2 years and it’s one of my favorite places to be at and where I can be for hours. I chose this internship site not only because of my interest in athletics but because of the people. Everyone working and training there, anyone from all ages have such a good attitude and are committed people. They strive for improvement, and have amazing attitudes. The trainers do this because it’s what they love, they don’t see failure. I am curious to learn about what it takes to be a trainer, the planning, and leading a class. Some skills I can offer is my organization, good communication skills, bilingual (spanish and english), and adaptability/quick learner.
The OTC is one of my favorite places to be. I had the opportunity to train there with my cross country and track team for 2 years. I fell in love with this place because I would constantly be meeting new people that would inspire me. I observed athletes training, sports medicine/therapy, and met coaches. Being exposed to this environment very much intrigued and interested me in the field of sports medicine. Since I am an athlete as well, I think it’s something I could understand and adapt to quickly. I also am interested in professional athletes, their stories, their lives and what the Olympic Training Center does for them. Some skills I can offer is, I am bilingual (spanish and english), and have good communication skills. I am also always excited an willing to help out on anything.

What are you most looking forward to about junior internship?
I am really excited to meet new people and make more connections in the real world with people that have the same interest as me. I am curious to see what a regular day in life with a "job" feels like since I've never worked somewhere.
Which of your skills do you hope to apply to your internship? Which of your skills do you hope to strengthen at your internship?
I hope there is a way where I can apply my artistic abilities and creative skills into my internship. It's been my dream to do something involving what I love which is drawing and creating things. I feel like I have found something close that can actually do that for me and an actual educational internship. I also hope to apply my willingness to help and work with people. I find myself wanting to be available for anyone and asking if they need something I can help with do. I like keeping myself busy.
Some skills I hope to strengthen is my communication towards adults. I have always been good at being respectful because I was raised to put people before me, always be kind, and a lot of key things for the future. But I hope to grow even more in this because it's something I will always be using, it's always going to be useful now, and in the future.
