My job in our business was design/production, I had to create the logo, and banner.
When selling, we could sell any day except the days that were occupied for selling. We would get dismissed 30 min before school was over to get everything prepared for all the hungry people who would come out of school. Before selling we had to advertise throughout the school by putting fliers around like in the bathroom and halls. When actually selling we had a few bumps on the road by the plug of the grill and timing but later solved it by making them in a separate room a bit before selling while keeping them warm.
Exhibition was a complete success! We sold out on our 3rd shift selling 60 quesadillas and 72 grilled cheeses. Each shark tank groups of 8 were split up into 4 shifts. 2 people were to make grilled cheese and quesadillas and 1 was to serve and collect money. This was one of the coolest experiences because everything is happening live and you have to bring in the costumers. I felt like a sales food cart person yelling out prices and trying to bring people in. I also felt very professional because we put up a sign so they can ask us questions and when answering them we answered very confidently and using strategic words to sound more professional like if we were an actual company. This project was cool because it gives you an actual experience on how running a business actually is.. and how hard it is.
