FINAL PRODUCT

I chose the immune system because in my story I talk about the struggle I faced with my sister and how she caused me to be depressed and stress a lot. It affected me as a person. I also talk about in my story what type of person I am and what I find relief from, then what happens when I don’t have that which is a series of events that occurred in my running season. I talked a little about my mentality and the struggle I have also had towards that. This created anxiety and stress and affected not only my running career but as a student and a person.
I connected the immune system with the circulatory system and the digestive system because, whatever we digest, our body turns into energy and nutrients. If we digest bad things, we will be intoxicating our body, it will be circulating along the whole body.
In the digestive system, epithelial tissue is crucial to the immune system. It's the layer that protects from any bad pathogens.
In the circulatory this is also present, but it's called endothelium tissue/cell. Basically the same thing, a layer that protects the fluid and helps cells edit blood vessels;s to reach tissues that are under attack from foreign substances: bacteria and viruses.

This is my drawing of an open heart (circulatory system) from a fetal pig we had dissected. Before the final product we had many critiques to make sure we included all of the Elements Of Art in our piece. We also used a range of special drawing pencils that came in different sizes and shade payoff.

This is my drawing of the human digestive system. We connected our anatomical drawings to our system we chose for our narrative. The system I chose was Immune System, I connected the digestive system and the circulatory system (heart).

Final Anatomically Correct Drawings

Picture
This is my final zine page. We were told to create a page that included two quotes from our narrative, one of them had to be a quote that included biological terms. We also needed two pictures, one of them having to be our one of the anatomical drawings we made. I liked how we had the freedom of making our pages however we dispersed and there was really no layout to this piece.
